In September, we were thrilled to be approached by the HRDirector to write an article about the Government’s new Health & Work Service for their November issue. The service has been created to help employees manage absence due to sickness that lasts four weeks or more and reduce the number of days lost each year to sickness absence. In preparation for the launch of the new Service, employers should remain on the lookout for news and updated information both on and offline, and regular contact with a professional HR or occupational health advisor would be beneficial to ensure that you can quickly interpret and action up-to-date information.
